The festive season is always an exciting time – a time to unwind, relax, enjoy beautiful food and wine and spend quality time with our families.
Our family has traditionally always celebrated Christmas in just that way and that’s why this Christmas we thought we would share a few fabulous down south tips and a gorgeous recipe which brings together wine and good family time – no churn Moscato ice-cream!

A pre-Christmas late night shopping Farmers’ Market – packed full of all the same fresh seasonal produce stalls and some fab present ideas too! We love the Margaret River Farmers Market year-round. Plenty of amazing produce that will team up perfectly with our Moscato…think artisan cheeses, fresh fruits and seafood.

We never shy away from Christmas carols this time of year! Join in the Christmas spirit for this fabulous community event – Christmas carols, free music and festivities for the whole family!
Beach Picnic – anytime!
The sun’s out, it’s warm and it’s the holidays! What better time to grab your friends and a bottle of Moscato to enjoy down at the beach! Our beach picks this summer… Dunsborough foreshore, Eagle Bay and Gracetown.
A little about our Moscato
Moscato is the perfect festive wine – it’s low in alcohol, has a slight spritz and is refreshingly light and sweet. Bright, intense aromas of peach and orange blossom overlay a musk stick and boiled lolly sweetness, making it a great accompaniment to a cheese platter or using it to cook with.
Our 2018 Moscato which has just about sold out now was a silver medal winner at the 2019 Wine Show of Western Australia and a bronze medal winner at the 2019 Langton’s Margaret River Wine Show. Our 2021 Moscato has just released and we’re really proud of this wine – we have no doubt it will impress as much as the 2018 did!
Recipe – Moscato Ice-Cream (no churn)
Serves – 8
Preparation Time – 10 minutes
Freeze Time – 5 hours
- 1 ¼ cup Moscato
- ½ cup superfine granulated sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 ⅓ cups heavy cream
- Combine Moscato, sugar and vanilla into a large bowl
- Whisk ingredients together until sugar is mostly dissolved
- Add the cream and use an electric beater on high until soft peaks just begin to form and the mixture has thickened
- Transfer to a container with an airtight lid and freeze overnight or at least 5 hours before serving
- Serve with berries and enjoy!
